Kill Your Sin - Jake Heenehan
In the state of Texas, there are more personally owned Tigers than there are in the wild in the rest of the world. This crazy fact tells us one thing: people are treating deadly animals like little pets that they can play with. In Romans 6:1-14, Paul exhorts the Roman church to put their sin to death. He reminds them that they are no longer slaves to sin, forced to obey its desires, but they have been set free from their slavery through the death and resurrection of Christ. Paul ends his exhortation by reminding the Romans to not present themselves as instruments of unrighteousness, rather, as freed sons and daughters of God, present themselves as instruments of righteousness. Let us hear Paul's exhortation and remember that we have been set free from sin, and now we can serve the Lord as instruments of righteousness.
